🤝 Adding Ticket Scanners to Your Account
As an Event Organizer, we know that it's not always possible for you to handle scanning your own tickets while you're trying to run your events. This is why we've made it possible for you to add team members called Ticket Scanners. Ticket Scanners are members of your organization that are different from team members. They do not have access to your events on theticketing.co and cannot access the statistics feature on the Scanner app. Ticket Scanners can only scan or check-in tickets!
There are three methods to add Ticket Scanners to your Organization:
Method 1:
You can add Ticket Scanners while working on theticketing.co by selecting the Box office (https://promoter.theticketing.co/box-office) menu option in the Events section.
Simply enter in the email of the Ticket Scanner you'd like to add to your Organization and an email invitation will be sent to their inbox.
Once they accept the invitation via email, they will be added to your Organization as a Ticket Scanner and can login to the app with their existing login information to begin scanning tickets. *Please note that if the person being invited does not have a Ticketing Co. account, they will be asked to create one after clicking on the accept link in their email
Method 2 & 3:
Similar to the above method, Ticket Scanners can be added directly from the app!
At any point while using the app
you can tap on the Ticket scanners tab at the bottom of your screen to start adding new ticket scanners. If your ticket scanner is not present, you can add them with their email similarly to Method 1. If they are present, please move on to Method 3 for the fastest option!
Tap Add with email and enter the email of the person you would like to add as a scanner.
They will be sent an invitation email in which they will need to accept and be able to login with their login info once completed.
Method 3:
All users of our Ticket Scanning App are given a unique QR code that they can access at any time by tapping the QR code icon in the top right corner of their screen.
Tapping this icon will reveal their unique QR code and allow you as an Organizer to quickly add them to your Organization to start scanning tickets. See an example below:
While on the Ticket scanners tab, instead of tapping Add with email, tap on QR code to open the scanner window for Ticket Scanners.
Simply scan their QR code and they will be added to your Organization, ready to scan tickets right away!
